I've already seen stunning views of Jupiter, Andromeda, Orion Neb the moon etc. Getting use to the set up is the biggest hurdle but once I figured out everything the scope works exactly as it's supposed to. As an owner of this scope I would have to say the review is right on target. Also I called Meade for some help on their support line and they were very willing to help out with any questions I had so I'm not sure where the lousy customer service reputation came from.
